Priyanka's visit to Nalini

I was reading at this article abt priyanka's visit to nalini, person convicted of aidin in the assasination of Rajiv Gandhi. Well...the first impression i got is that don't ppl have other issues to think abt. Why do they waste time abt a once politician's daughter's personal life. She went to talk and get rid of anger and grudge out of her mind which is a good cause. I don't understand why do the press point out in big letters as a national disaster on the front page of the newspaper.

Memorable moments with RAJ...

Raj…Raj Bharat…The name says it all. The guy wid all smiles on his face. Raj…never imagined I would ever write a blog on you. Raj and me both shared the same class. The second roll number in the class, always sits in the first bench, keeps doing some stuff or the other was my first impression. Time went on, and at the end of third year, you became a good friend of mine. Your creativeness whether it be solving a programming assignment or drawing a sketch or answering the stupid questions of PVR/ Krishna Rao, u were distinct. I still remember the consoling mail you wrote when I failed in my interview for CMC. Then we departed but for a short time. We both attended the test at Motorola. When I got selected you patted me and wished me good luck for the interview. In the year 2004-05 we kept on meeting regularly at common get-togethers:Your B’day Party, our Ramoji Film City Trip, Our get-together. You were the back-bone behind the success of the reunion. U did a great job whether it be conducting or recording the entire event. Raj…You had always been a good friend KLCE gifted me. You are always there as a true friend who genuinely helps each n everyone around, cheering up the atmosphere beside you. I still have the card you gave me when I said I am starting my higher education again. Your blogs your mails to the group were always so lively, informative. How can I forget that you were the regular visitor to my blog. I want a comment for this blog too. Please write a comment for this too RAJ. You lived upto your blog name YASASWI(Chirakalam maa gundello nilichipoyavu).LUNATIC CALM meaning Dangerous Silence...true to the blog title is the silence which is surrounding all of us now. Vidhi inta darunam ga vuntundani vuhinchalekapoyam. Nake powers vunte ninnu malli elagina venakki teesuku vasta. When I was coming here, you came to give me send-off to the airport. When I come back, I want to see you RAJ. Please come back. Wish your soul rest in peace and may GOD give enough strength to your family and friends. You had made a silent mark in our lives and departed. MISS YOU RAJ!!

Great moments wid my friends at Moto

I guess this incident happened an year bac or so. It was a cool bright day in hyderabad, which everyone would like to chill out instead of staring at those stupid monitors. Soon after lunch, we( naiem, nandy, kavi and me) decided to go out. We had no great plans just wanted to do some TP. IMAX was the best option we could think of. Ok..Let's go there first and then later decide about the movie was naiem's suggestion. By the time we started it was raining like cats and dogs outside. But that didn't deter any one of us from going. Well...Thank god we reached safely. Then, what next. What movie should we watch. The others had seen parineeta twice or so. Our nandy baba watches any movie min. 3 times. So we shouldn't consider him anyways. The other 2 were not keen on watching parineeta again. There were couple other english, hindi and telugu movies which no one was interested in. The one movie which naiem and kavi had not watched till that time was the one and only PAHELI. I was trying to divert their attention from this movie coz i know how crappy movie it was. Unfortunately, i have seen that one 2 days before wid my bro and banged my head. To my bad luck, ppl started discussing about the movie. Kavi wanted to watch that coz that movie had some marwadi style in it. Nandy was fine wid this movie though he watched it twice. I tried to convince naiem saying it's not that good. "If u guys r willing to go...that's fine i would return bac to office" was my immediate response. Oh man!!! This kavi and naiem won't leave me. They pulled me like anything holding both of my hands one each. I was cribbing a lot saying i can't bear that movie once again. It's such an idiotic movie sharukh could ever act in that i was unable to explain them how bad it would be. That made me suffer big time. The ppl passing by us in Imax were all looking at us conspicuously. I didn't want to create a scene over there. Naiem is like "Vinni, u can't spend this much time wid us again, come na we will enjoy" aise senti bolke mujhe jabardast andar bitha diya. Then started the troubles. Here i should tell a lill bit about the scenes. Sharukh is married to Rani and on the suhaag rat our hero keeps counting about the hisaab and couldn't spend some time wid his dear wife Rani. The next day morning he had start to a new place. So, our heroine is all upset. Soon after Sharukh left, a bhooth disguises as Sharukh and comes home. Our rani does romance thinking it was her husband. Finally, rani gives birth to a kid coz of bhooth. A bhooth having a kid wid a human. Did anyone hear such a script anytime. One should see my buddies reaction. Nandy is sleeping in the cozy seats relaxedly. Naiem and kavi who were on my either side were commenting so loudly about this wonderful sequences that the ppl b4 and after our seats started laughing big time. Finally after coming out, u know what naiem said "Chi Vinni I pity you, how could you come to this movie for second time. If i were you, i would have hanged myself rather than watching again". Hearing this, you should see my face. It had all mixtures of emotions. First, i was angry wid these guys who made me see the movie again and in the end teasing me for watching it twice. Fun of watching wid friends and enjoying though it was such a crappy one made me feel good. The whole 3 hours i enjoyed looking at naiem's and kavi's faces and their reactions to the scenes in the movie. Those were more colorful and beautiful than the movie. It was some kind of satisfaction i got looking at them. My efforts to explain them about this movie were all ignored. Hence, they had to watch it and bear the suffering along wid me. In the middle, naiem would wake up nandy and ask "ey kya movie bey..itna gandha hain". Nandy always bears a cute smile on his face and continues to watch the coming scene. Overall, it turned out to be a memorable incident for all 4 of us. The next day, every second person naiem would meet up was informed of this incident. Ppl would ping me asking "vinni how could u watch paheli second time." He made me so unpopular. He is such a naughty person that though i get angry, it's jus for a split of a second. The next moment i would start enjoying the joke though it's on me. This blog is for you remembering one of our sweet memories. Those wonderful days wid u 3 were unforgettable. U guys made me realize what life is all about. U were such a caring, adorable friends GOD has ever gifted me. Missing you all naiem, nandy and kavi.

My Trip to Idaho & Bear Lake

This is my first trip in US. The itenary of the trip was planned by Ali. The night b4 the trip went on chit chatting all 5 of us(Niru, Gautam, Deepak, Ali and Me) till 12:30. Ali got a wierd idea of going to Smith's at night 12:30 to get groceries. We told Deepak and Gautam to get ready by 8 which ultimately worked out and they came at 9. IST hain naa...so ek ghanta hi late. Finally our trip started at 10 am coz we got late making sandwiches which turned out to be a big flop. Our healthy sandwiches weren't touched by gautam at all. Niru forced ali ,deepak & me to eat some. The journey to lake walcott was good with nice sceneries of utah and idaho passing. Here comes the famous niru point. We all climbed one tree and took some pictures. Niru is so enthu that she is the first person who wanted to climb up the tree...and while coming down, man she was so scared and thez ppl made so much of fun out of this huss-buss. Ali captured the moments in a video which is the best i have seen ever. We named that tree as "Niru Point". We then proceeded to Thousand Springs. The hiking up the stones to go to the lemon falls and drenching under cold water was very good. We started back home and lost our way somewhere near pocatello. That made us drive for some 2 hrs extra. Ali made us see the beautiful stars in the dark which was a good sight to see. Finally we r back. The next day we started to Bear Lake. It was a wonderful sight to see the bright blue color water. Hey...have to mention some of my stunts in the bear lake now. Our car got stuck in the beach and i was asked to sit in the car and reverse it. When the care got out of sand, i was supposed to apply brakes which for GOD's sake i dont know where they were. That was my driving skill. Thanks to Mr. Reddy who taught me driving charing me Rs.2500. He never gave me control of the car. He himself applied brakes and accelerator whenever i needed to do. So finally my brain worked and applied brakes. When i got out, everyone were screaming. It's then i realized how near i took the car into the lake. Good that we were safe. How stupid do i do sometimes. Forgot to mention about Gautam's 360 degree profile pics and my drill session photos in the water which were part of our wonderful moments. The much needed break we all deserved. Had a very nice time spending close to the nature. Utah is really the most beautiful place with good greenery. I hope we make some more nice trips like this.

The rushing dayz in US

It's been 2 months that my examz r over. The summer course which i took is almost ending. Have to give the final exam next week. Ghosh days r just flying like anything. Weekends r just passing swiftly. I can't imagine myself that it's been 6 months i left India. Well...lemme tell u about my Prof. Dave today. On the first look u can think he is a typical person wearing spects and a beard. The man who cracks non-sense jokes which am sure he only can understand. He uses a uni-cycle which is very difficult to balance. A typical guy fundoo in modelling things. The first day at class was so horrible sitting in the class for 2:30 mins. Can you imagine our situation in the class. After much thought, i decided to continue with the class thinking that it will end in a month. Before i got adjusted to his teaching, the course ended. The way he came up wid examples and theory to pass 2 1/2 hrs. was good. Much better than other proffs. There is one other person who comes to my mind when i think of this class. Josh....who constantly laughs for every joke of dave. His laugh is like a huge siren in a silent class. He suddenly starts laughing which makes me come into class atmosphere out of my dreams. Then only we can realize that dave cracked a joke. We had absolute grading for this course. Dave's constant efforts to make us pass were quite funny too. He made us give a test for 150 and he then reduced it to 125. That made some of my friends score 130 out of 125. Quite amusing naa.....Well...i took this course thinking i could increase my GPA with a single course to study. But am struggling hard to get atleast B now. Let's see how things go in the next week. Hoping for a good score. Bye for now.

My first blog...

Well...this is my first blog.....Though have been thinking of posting a blog ever since i came to US, the laziness in me has taken the top gun. Atlast, i put my brains and fingers to work. My experiences in US are awesome. Have met different kinds of ppl, came to know the rarest culture of christians ie. The Mormans. Never heard of them b4 i came here. Ppl here have been very sweet, friendly, always ready to offer you helping hand, listen to your sorrows, share your joys and the list goes on. Yes, this is all true. I like their traditions, values except that they try to induce everyone with their values which i don't like. Infact, everyone would have their own belief in this regards. Coming to this place LOGAN, the beautiful cache valley surrounded by mountains full of snow. The beauty of nature, the calm, cool, nice atmosphore makes everyeone feel at peace. what can anyone ask for more in life. It can sometimes make u depressed too...tht's a different story. Next comes my gruelling first semester. Inspite of constant warnings from my seniors here, the courses i have taken made me work for almost 50 hrs a week which sometimes made me mad. At times, thought of returning back to India. But, Wait...U have your own goals set and your own promises to fulfill to yourself. I atleast had that goal and enthusiasm set in my mind which made me drive to work hard and secure a decent score. The past one month after my exams had been pretty dull. I don't have the enthu to start taking things challenging and work with satisfaction. Though, am "spending" 5-6 hrs of time at my workplace-LTAP, I am not able to gain the fighting spirit to do sth innovative. If this period, continues for long..am sure this univ. would kick me out of this place.
